This site offers a wide variety of current information about Type 1 diabetes-also known as insulin dependent diabetes, IDDM or juvenile diabetes. My daughter became diabetic at age 8 and some of my pages reflect my own experiences dealing with the onset of this disease and our management of it on a day by day basis.

The purpose of this site is to help parents of diabetic children and adults who have Type 1 Diabetes. The main objective of this site is better health care for the diabetic and better control of daily blood sugar levels.
