I know I have asked myself so many times.
Why God let it be you...so young and innocent, to suffer, and why oh Lord couldn't
the burden have been mine.
The tears that your Dad and I have cried...worrying about you and how
you were going to do, with the
heavy load that was placed on you.
I am not questioning God, that I must not do,
Because I believe he has something
wonderful in store for you.
But seeing the day to day toil that you have
to go through...nobody knows but me and you.
As the years went by then I knew...I had
learned something Britt just from watching you.
You went on with your life so brave and strong,
dealing with problems as they came along.
Now a young lady that I'm so proud of...
taught me a life lesson, so filled with love!
No matter what's put on you or what comes your way. You just have to live your life day by day.
So if there's such things as heroes,
then you're mine Indeed!
You the only hero this Mother will ever need!
